The Role: Quality Control Specialist – Automated Testing Intern

As a Quality Control (QC) Specialist Intern focused on automated testing at HIRINGWORLD, you will play a key role in ensuring our platform remains robust, reliable, and high-performing. You’ll develop, maintain, and execute automated tests, assist with identifying bugs, and collaborate closely with developers and designers to guarantee a seamless experience for users across the globe.

What You’ll be doing:

Develop, run, and maintain automated test scripts across web and mobile platforms
Perform regression, integration, and performance testing
Collaborate with developers to design and implement test strategies
Identify, track, and document bugs and inconsistencies
Support continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes
Use tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar to automate tests
Monitor application performance and suggest improvements
Stay up to date with the latest trends in QA automation and software testing

Primary Responsibilities:

Automated Testing: Build and maintain reusable automated test cases
Bug Reporting: Document and track issues with clarity and detail
Collaboration: Work with development teams to understand features and edge cases
Test Strategy: Contribute to and improve test plans and frameworks
Quality Assurance: Ensure performance, usability, and reliability of the platform

We’d Love To Hear From You If You Have:

Basic understanding of QA methodologies and automation tools
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
Experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages
Interest in CI/CD and agile development processes
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Willingness to learn and take initiative

We strongly encourage those who have some experience with:

Knowledge of the international job seeker/hiring marketplace
RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) or immigration experience
Experience working internationally or with international users
